1. How do I book an apartment?

Once you have found the apartment you like, go to the” send request” area (on the right hand side of the page, next to the picture of the apartment). Complete the request form with the details required. It is important that you fill out all the fields. Once you are happy with your details, click 'Send e-mail' and your details will be sent securely to www.apartments-split.com.
Important - On the form, please ensure that your e-mail address is correct. If your e-mail address is incorrectly typed in, we will be unable to respond to your request.
Booking confirmation - Once your e-mail has been received we will confirm the availability of the apartment and answer any questions you have. When you confirm that you want to book the requested apartment we will provide you with all the details you will need to make the deposit payment. After we receive your deposit we will send you a booking confirmation form for you to fill in with all your details, and we will send this to the apartment owner for you.
You will then receive detailed arrival directions with the address of the apartment, clear directions to it (or to an easy to find meeting point), along with the mobile phone number of the contact person for the apartment.
 
2. How do I pay for the apartment?
 
To confirmation your reservation, we ask you make a 20% pre-payment by bank transfer, Pay Pal or credit card.
 
For bank transfer payments we will send you details of our company bank account and explain procedure.
 
For Pay Pal payments, if you have a Pay pal account, we will send you Pay Pal payment request on your e-mail.
 
For credit card payments we are using pay pal system through their website which is one of the safest ways of payments. We are accepting Visa, Master Card and American Express.
To make a credit card payment you have to click on our homepage the link on the right side of the website under Credit card payments title - yellow link “Buy now”.
Link takes you to the Pay Pal website where you will proceed with the payment.
On your left you will have to fill Your order summary.
In Description box put “Deposit for apartment …. Period …”. In Item price put agreed deposit price.
Then click Update.
After that you have to go on the right side of the screen and click at the bottom Pay with a debit or credit card. Now you are continuing with payment as a Pay pal guest.
You have to fill all the necessary fields and just follow the instructions Card payment will be done.
 
 
3. What is the security deposit?
 
Most of our apartment owners do not require a security deposit. If they do, you can clearly see it on the page that provides the detailed description of the apartment, just below the price list. The security deposit is the money held against any breakages or damage to the property during the accommodation period and it should be paid in cash directly to the owner of an apartment or to the contact person on the day of arrival. The amount of security deposit depends on the apartment and will also be shown on your booking confirmation. The security deposit will be returned in full to you at the end of the reservation period provided there have been no breakages or damages to the accommodation by the guests.
 
 
4. How do I cancel my reservation?
 
Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel a reservation. Your deposit payment is not refundable.
 
 
5. When are the check-in and check-out times?
 
Check-in is any time after 12.00 p.m. and check-out is by 10.00 a.m. We need at least 2 hours in order to clean the apartment and prepare it for your stay and for the guests who will follow you. If you need a later check-out, please contact the owner of the apartment directly to see if it is possible (you will find their contact details on your booking confirmation).
 
 
6. How do I get the keys for the apartment?
 
The owner of the apartment or contact person will meet you at the apartment (or at the agreed meeting place) on the day of arrival and will give you the keys after they have shown you the apartment and explained any details you will need.
 
 
7. Do I need to clean the apartment before leaving?
 
No, the apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and again after you leave, so you are not required to clear it yourself, although guests are obliged to leave the apartment in reasonable condition.
 
 
8. When and how do I pay the rest of the balance?
 
After you have paid the deposit, the balance of the payment for renting the apartment should be paid in cash directly to the owner of the apartment, or their contact person, upon arrival.
 
 
9. Do I have to bring anything with me?
 
All our apartments are fully furnished and equipped with all the necessary bed linen, towels, kitchen utensils, etc, so you should not need to bring along any additional equipment except your personal belongings.
 
 
10. What if I need help or information during my stay?
 
If you need any help or information you can contact us by phone or email and we will try our best to fix a problem. You can also contact us outside of normal working hours in case of an emergency.
