We at Apartments-Split team have done our best to assure that the descriptions and photographs on our website are an accurate representation of the accommodations that are in our offer.
The minimum stay requirement is determined by the apartment owner and often varies depending on the time of year, but generally a 2 to 3 night minimum stay requirement applies.
Unless otherwise stated in the accommodation listing, pets are not allowed. Clients are free to ask if the owner would accept pets.
You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation. This deposit varies by apartment, but it is usually 20% of the price for each night booked.
The balance is payable directly to the property owner in cash upon arrival (either Euro or Kuna). It is not possible to pay the balance by credit card. If you do not feel comfortable traveling with a large amount of cash, it may be possible to pay the remaining balance directly to the property owner via bank transfer prior to your arrival. If you wish to avail of this option, then you must ask the property owner if he or she will accept payment via bank transfer and, if so, to provide his or her bank account information.
The client can change a reservation already confirmed only if the service provider accepts the change. These changes may include: change of the name of the person responsible for the booking, dates of the reservation, number of persons, their age and type of basic or extra services booked. The client must send his request to change the reservation in writing by e-mail.
If the client wants to cancel his reservation, he must send his request in writing by e-mail.
In case of a cancellation please note that the reservation deposit is non refundable.
The date when the agency receives the notification of the cancellation represents a basis for the calculation of cancellation charges in the following way:
• For a cancellation occurring to 7 days before the start of using the reserved service the cancellation is free of charge (but the reservation deposit is non refundable).
• For a cancellation occurring from 7 to 0 days before the start of using the reserved service the agency keeps the right to charge the client for the first night of the reserved accommodation.
• If the client does not show up at the destination or cancels the arrangement upon its beginning, the agency keeps the right to charge the whole amount.
If the actual costs are higher than presented above, the agency keeps the right of charging all the actual costs.
The specified cancellation charges also apply in case when booking details have been changed and the service provider does not accept the possible change of the reservation, with respect to the transfer of the amount already paid by the client to a new account.
If the client wants to change to an accommodation unit of a different service provider it will be treated as a booking cancellation. In that case the client will be charged cancellation fee on the scale shown above and if there is a difference in price it will be transferred to the new client's reservation. The Agency will offer the client a 10% discount (10 % of the amount of the canceled reservation) on the new reservation.
If the client who cancels the reserved accommodation unit finds a new client for the same reservation, the agency charges only the costs caused by the change.
If the reservation is canceled following the death of the client (person in charge of the booking) or of a member of his immediate family, the Agency will charge the minimum amount of cancellation fees (20%). This is also valid if the reservation is canceled following the death of a member of the group or a member of his immediate family (spouse, brother, sister, parents or children), in case that the agency has been informed that this person is part of the group.
The client must then send to the agency the death certificate, and if necessary the certificate of family relationship between the deceased and the client, or member of the group.
Immediately upon determining the correct amount to be returned to the client, the agency will make the payment on the client's bank account, the client bears the bank charges.
If the client cancels his reservation for any other reason, the cancellation fee will be calculated as indicated above depending on the date the agency receives the notification of cancellation.
If the client does not show up at the accommodation the latest at 8 pm on the day of arrival and does not inform the Agency or the service provider about his delay, the reservation will be considered canceled and the cancellation costs will be calculated as a cancellation on the day of arrival. If the service provider has in the meantime accepted other clients, no claim will be accepted by the client and the agency will not refund him the amount he paid.
After completing your reservation and paying the deposit, you will receive 2 e-mails. The first will be a receipt for your payment from PayPal or from us if you pay by Bank Transfer. The second will be a "BOOKING CONFIRMATION" e-mail from us containing full details of your reservation including balance due on arrival, apartment address, and apartment owner contact information. You will fill in the form ”BOOKING CONFIRMATION” with your details and we will send the form to the apartment owner.
That is your official reservation confirmation. You must bring that email with you and present it to the apartment owner upon arrival.
If you do not receive that e-mail (check all Junk and Bulk folders in addition to your Inbox), please contact us and we will re-send it to you.
Once your reservation is confirmed, you must contact the owner of your accommodation to inform him or her of the details of your arrival. The owner's contact information is contained in your reservation confirmation e-mail. The normal procedure is for you to go directly to the apartment where you will be greeted by the owner and given the keys.
In some cases we will provide you with “ARRIVAL DIRECTIONS” and in that case you can contact the owner just an hour before your arrival.
Each listing indicates the maximum number of guests (adults and/or children) allowed in each property. The property owner is under no obligation to honor a reservation if the number of guests exceeds the stated maximum occupancy. As such, any reservations where the number of guests exceeds the maximum occupancy are subject to cancellation and the forfeiture of the deposit paid. If upon arrival there are more guests than the property allows, the property owner may choose to cancel the reservation and any deposit paid will be forfeited.
In some cases, a property owner will allow more guests than the stated maximum occupancy and will charge an extra-person supplement. Such arrangements must be agreed to in writing prior to the scheduled arrival date. Guests are obliged to pay any agreed upon extra-person surcharge either on arrival or prior to arrival (whichever the property owner requires). Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of any deposit paid.
The prices listed on our website reflect the prevailing prices at a given point in time. By making a booking on our website you lock in the prevailing price. From time to time, apartment owners will offer price discounts to generate last-minute bookings or raise prices to reflect improvements to the properties. In these cases, no price adjustments will be made to bookings that were made prior to the implementation of the price change.
The availability calendars for all apartments listed on our website are based upon the information we receive from the individual apartment owners. However, it is possible that a situation may arise where an apartment reserved on our website is not available. In this case, we will offer our customers the option of a full refund or will try to find them alternate accommodation of similar quality and price. We cannot be held responsible for such an error when caused by the failure of the apartment owner to provide us with up-to-date information.
We at Apartments-Split team have done our best to assure that the descriptions and photographs on our website are an accurate representation of the accommodations as of the time we inspected them. However, as we are working with many individual apartment owners, it is not always possible for our website to immediately reflect all changes and upgrades to the accommodations. In the event you find that the accommodation you rent is materially different than the representation made on our site, please notify us so that we may update our listing. However, Apartments Split cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancies, as we are merely a booking agent for the apartment owners.
Tourist taxes are tourist agencies income. All foreign and domestic citizens have to pay it for every realized overnight staying. Height of Tourist tax depends on tourist place and time of staying. Guide price for adults is around 1 EUR per day, persons from 12 to 18 years old 0,5 EUR per day and children to 12 years old are free of paying sojourn tax.
When you check in into a hotel, hostel, camp or apartment, automatically you will be registrated at the police, what has been assigned by law. If you are staying at friend`s pleace do the registration personally. In period of 24 hours you should registrate to the closest police station and don`t forget your passport. You will be kindly asked to fill some paper works,the procedure is necessary for your safety and helps you go through any inconvenience that might happen while you are on vacation in Croatia.
The price of the tourist tax is included in the overall price of accommodation and is paid together with the accommodation payment. If the tourist tax is not included in the overall price it will be represented on the property details.

The limitations of liability provided in these terms inure to the benefit of ALANI d.o.o. and/or their respective suppliers.
By confirming your reservation with apartments-split.com you agree to our term and conditions as outlined above. You acknowledge reading and accepting our cancellation policy as stated. In accepting our terms and conditions you are expected to abide by these rules.The Agency reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Please check this page at the site before your arrival. If you violate these Terms, the Agency may cancel your booking and/or take appropriate legal action against you.
The parties will attempt to settle any dispute agreeably. If the parties cannot agree to settle the dispute, they accept the jurisdiction of the Split court in the dispute settlement.
