A quick note to let you know we arrived back in Sofia just fine yesterday. It took us 14 hours, but since the roads are nice it was not too bad! It did rain a lot, but that did not slow us down very much.
Thank you for the nice apartment you provided. We very much enjoyed staying in it, and seeing Split. Croatia is a beautiful country, and we hope to return again someday! We will recommend the apartment to any of our friends who might travel to the area.

"We stay in apartments often. I must say that this was probably one of the easiest and best experiences. The owner was so professional and so nice. Milk and water were provided and she offered advice and help with Taxi service. The TV had English, French, Spanish and German channels. The apartment was very nice with some recent renovations. We loved staying in apartment Luka. The (friend of the) owner who recieved us was very friendly, overall contact with the owner (and rental agency) went very well. The location was wonderful, just the park to cross to the sea, excellent beach (loved the picigin!), close to the old town, supermarket not far away. It couldn’t have been better. The apartment itself was wonderful as well, very spacious, A/C in the rooms that matter, nice back patio, very well equipped (just missed the wine glasses, that’s all). We just had a lovely time in Split.

"We had a fantastic time . The weather was so hot in July but the flat was fantastic,the air conditioning was great and we close access to everything in Split. When we arrived Ivan was waiting for us, he even left us some bottles of local wine. I think the only thing we wished had been in the flat was a proper 'bread knife'. :-) We went to the market most days and tried the local food, the delicious cheese and breads. Omis was a beautiful place to visit and their is a sandy beach there. We found some local people to be very friendly and some not friendly at all. But this is like everywhere in the world. So Ivana.. we had a great time. the flat was fantastic. Ivan was great and Split was beautiful.We really enjoyed it. I have already recommended it to some friends in London and I think everything was booked up when they tried to go there. But I will definitely recommend Apartments Split and apartment Ivan in the future. Hope this helps.. :-)"

"Location is everything - just look out the door and see down to the RIVA.  Apartment is nicely decorated, kitchen well supplied; very neat and clean -and just right for two agile people (spiral stair case and three floors).
Local services just right around the corner - grocery store; ATM etc.  Walked over from the Ferry on arrival and returned to take day trip to Hvar. Walked a lot - going to the RIVA at night to join the promenade; to the Diocletians palace many times; to the top of the hill - just up from the apartment; to the green market for fresh produce; out along the waterfront to the Mestrovic museum and back - stopped for refreshment with a view of the harbor. Took bus to Trogir; returned by ferry. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

All 3 apartments were excellent and helped to make our stay in Split a good one. I hope that everything was ok. Unfortunatly I lost the contact number for Zana so I had to leave the apartment keys on the table for her as we had an early flight, I hope this was ok and she managed to get into the apartment with out a problem.

It's well appointed and a lot more convenient than you might think: only a 10 minute walk away from the center. The owners are very friendy and even gave us the use of a DVD player! The location within the edge of the palace was excellent. Also the room did not suffer from outside noise during sleeping times. The decor of the room was fun and the kitchen well-equipped. The staff are exceptional.

Really nice, helpful, english-speaking owner provided instructions and brochures for sight-seeing options upon our arrival. Apartment was really close to the old city, riviera and the port. It was really well equipped including even a washing machine. If you are lucky you can park right in front of the building for free ;)

The place is literally right in the wall of the old palace. Fantastic location to everything and beautiful view out the window. There is a shared rooftop patio that has a fantastic view of the sea.

The apartment owner was very friendly, picked us up from the bus station, was available on mobile and ready to assist us with further travel. The apartment was bright and spacious and clean and had wi-fi and cable, and everything you needed as well as some little extras. It was very conveniently located close to the centre of town and felt very secure.

"This apartment was fantastic, very modern, clean, with ahuge sun terrace and great value for money when compared to other places we stayed. We would definately go back! The apartment is located in the Old Town with bars, restaurants & shops right on the doorstep but there is no noise at night which is great. Marina, Promenade & Dalmatian Palace are also very close, 1 minute walk, and the closest beach is just a 10 minute walk. We would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Split!!"

"When we found out about the apartments we thought they are too nice to be true! So when we arrived there we were thrilled that the apartment Danijel 2 is really as fantastic as on the pictures! The house is very clean and perfectly located just 2 minutes away from the Riva. There is a supermarket at the corner of the street.
The apartment is fantastic: modern, very clean, has a fully equipped kitchen, a huge tv, a big modern bathroom (including shower gel and a hair dryer), a new computer you can use for free, a nice heating system. The owner did a great job on designing the interior of the apartment and still wants to improve it even though this apartment is very close to be perfect! We felt were safe there and enjoyed our time there very much. The owner was a great help as well. You cannot find a better place to stay in the old part of Split than this wonderful apartment!"

"We spent two weeks in apartment Rapsody during our regatta in Split. We couldn't have asked for more to make our stay any better. The apartment is in a prime location in the old town, literally steps from 1700 year old palace walls. We had a very easy check-in as Danijel met us personally and walked us to the apartment. The interior has been impeccably remodeled to a very modern and stylish standard. All of the amenities were available to make us comfortable. The well equipped kitchen with large refrigerator and a dishwasher was a surprising bonus. The living area was very comfortable and the big flat screen TV with surround sound was nice on nights we just relaxed in the apartment. When we didn't spend the night in, there were tons of good restaurants and cafe's close by. Danijel was kind enough to recommend several great spots for dinner, all within a 3 minute walk. The next time we are back in Split, we will definitely be staying here."

She recommended some restaurants to us, which was helpful. It was nice that you had maps in the apartment for us to use. One similar item that might be useful in the future would be a list of restaurants in the area, or some sort of restaurant guide available to guests. But the apartment was very nice, and we have no complaints. Thank you for helping to make our trip to Croatia enjoyable."

"Dear Ivana, We found the accomodation in Split excellent, close to ferries and trains and many buses and market., it was in an interesting pedestrian zone and we found the managers very cooperative as we arrived very early after taking the overnight train from Budapest.
We did not understand how the hot water system could produce boiling water for making tea and so suggested that a kettle or jug be supplied. It took us a day or two to work out how to dispose of our garbage, but soon saw people carring there plasic bags to the end of the street to deposit it in a large bin The sleeping configeration was good for 2 single people ,.
The tourist office produced the best guide to Split and surrounding and we followed many of their suggestion using public transport-no problem. It is a beautiful city and I hope I can visit again in the future. We left Split and travelled to the Plitvice Lakes by bus and had a marvellous trip up the coast and then over rugged mountains. The bus deposited us at the busstop near the Bellevue Hotel, but there was a highway to cross and we were advised to take the overhead bridge by the busdriver--it was a real hassel with luggaage and I would recommend anyone just cross the road carefully and walk down the drive. --a great location to explore the park and lakes. The hotel was basic and staff not very friendly but the location made up for any shortcomings when one does not have private transport

We had a great time! The apartment was perfect; plenty of room, clean and very comfortable, unbelievable terrace and the views... What a great location, we walked every where and took in all the sites. Also, many thanks to Gordan for his assistance and advice on where to go and eat. Please pass on our thanks to him. We stayed at apartment Filippo and it was a lovely place. Ten minutes walk to the citycenter and also to the beach. Clean and friendly we got a free bottle of local wine.

Niksa's apartment is amazingly modern and clean with all the facilities you might need. It's in a great location - an easy walk both to Diocletian's Palace and the viewpoint overlooking the harbour. Niksa and his wife made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful. We got drenched when we were caught in a heavy storm while walking home from dinner one night and Niksa's wife offered to wash our clothes for us (no charge)! We only booked one night, but decided we wanted to stay two. Unfortunately they already had another booking but found another apartment (nearby but even closer to the Palace) for us to stay for the same rate as their place. In the morning Niksa took us to the new place helping us with the language barrier and the tricky situation of finding a park so close to the city. We had a fabulous time and would recommend it to everyone!

The service from the girl who looks after the apartment, Rahela, was outstanding. She came and met me at the port and drove me to the apartment. Took the time to explain Split to me and mark everything on city map and ghave some great restaurant recomendations. I was travelling with two friends so the apartment catered for us perfectly in terms of space and size. Location was great and free wifi was a bonus.

Upon entry Brane gave us a full walkthrough of Split, making markings on a large map he provided, recommending activities and places to go. We had no complaints with the apartment the whole way through - bathrooms were nice, beds fairly basic but well kept and generally the place was very clean. Kitchen was nice, all hobs/ovens in full working order with plenty of utensils, etc. The livingroom area was hugely vital for us having a drink before going out at night, something we wouldn't have got if we'd stayed in a hotel or hostel. There were speakers and a computer (with free internet!) provided! The garden was fantastic for enjoying the warm nights, very big (although mostly trees), we had a few barbeques and could all fit around the tables and chairs that were provided - had fun spotting the family of kittens that seemed to be around.

No problems with payment/deposits, plus the owner seemed to be in contact with our (separately) booked transfer from the airport, so the transfers took us straight to the door without any instruction!

Overall, as students we couldn't have asked for more.
